Our Client is a strong performing Multi-National Pan European Blue Chip organisation who through continued investment heading into 2013, is now looking for an 2nd Line Support Advisor to join this ever expanding business.

Based from their Regional Offices in Doncaster the successful 2nd Line Support Advisor will be responsible providing a mix of Telephony & On-Site Support to Clients. As the ideal candidate you will have previous 2nd Line Support experience with a broad range of Networking & Desktop Support Skills covering both Hardware & Software.

Key Responsibilities of the role would include:

* Prioritise All Tickets Ensuring all Queries are Resolved within Service Level Agreements
* Troubleshooting Technical Issues & Faults working through to Resolution
* Support of Telephony environment
* Ensure Documentation is kept up to date
* Escalate Problems where necessary to Management
* Retain Ownership of Incidents & Monitor until Satisfactory Resolution

Key Skills & Experience required:

* Strong background working as 1st or 2nd Line Helpdesk Engineer
* Solid experience in Resolving Technical Queries, both Desk side & Remotely
* Strong experience in the Support of IT Systems such as Microsoft environments, Windows 7, Office 2007 / 2010, Active Directory, Group Policy & Exchange Server Administration.
* VMware and V-Sphere and other Virtualisation experience
* Ability & Confidence to Troubleshoot Helpdesk Calls within Service Level Agreements to ensure a high level of customer service is provided
* Solid Networking experience and any Firewall exposure will be seen as a major advantage (Cisco, HP, Watchguard, Sonicwall)
* Mobile Device Configuration & Troubleshooting (iPhone, Android, Blackberry)
* Ability to Attend Meetings with Internal Clients & External Companies representing the Department
