Project Manager to join leading finance house based in Nottingham for an initial 3 month contract
Working closely with senior stakeholders and key vendors you will have responsibility for multiple full life cycle project delivery.
Key responsibilities will include;
Set up project governance, schedule regular meetings and produce minutes and actions
Produce reports for stakeholders with full Progress and Project Control reporting
Create and maintain Project Plans, manage dependencies and report on milestones.
Produce full project financials and track the financial status of the project and report against budget and forecast project spend.
Create and maintain risks and issues logs, take mitigating actions and report to stakeholders
Receive & process all change requests, ensure impact analysis is conducted, process acceptance or rejection as appropriate.
Build productive relationships with and be able to influence all stakeholders including those at senior level.
Motivate and lead the project team, encourage team building and working together.
Work closely with all departments involved in the project and combine the various streams of activity and resources into one plan.
You should come to the role with a clear history of achieving delivery through the management of people rather than direct task management (to include large scale vendor agreements). You will be able to demonstrate a history of delivery in a matrix management environment and a track record of managing stakeholder expectations to senior management level.
Ideally you will have a formal PM delivery background within financial services.
Rate is @ £ 380 per day
