Field Sales & Business Development - POS

This is an appealing long term career position for a Business Development and Field Sales Representative to drive and develop new and existing business within the POS industry. You must be self reliant and driven for success. You will be required to proactively seek out new business opportunities and attend appointments with key decision makers at well known, large, established businesses. Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential in this role and you would be required to present the products to customers. Pro-activity is paramount in generating prospects and making appointments to win new business. We are looking for individuals with a previous record of exceeding sales and performance targets who are seeking a long term career.

REQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE:
*Experience within the POS industry with an already established customer base is essential
*Experience in a previous business development, field sales and direct sales role is essential
*Must have the desire and ability to meet sales and performance targets set by the company with proven history of generating sales revenues
*Must have strong confidence, be dynamic, enthusiastic, self motivated, goal orientated, have good negotiation skills and be driven for success
*Full UK driving license
*Computer literacy is essential with knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
*Excellent presentation skills
*Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

SALARY & BENEFITS:
*Basic salary is circa 40-50,000 p.a. - negotiable depending on experience

RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Proactively generating and delivering sales by achieving new business prospects
*Making and attending appointments, establishing new client relationships and maintaining strong rapport with existing clients
*Developing and maintaining a healthy pipeline of customer/client opportunities
*Developing good working relationships with key customers, establishing their needs
*Promoting the company's POS products and services and generating sales
*Achieving sales and performance targets as set by management
*Gaining referrals
*Liaising and working with management to build and grow the business further

WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., flexibility required
